Arrowhead Lake

One of my favorite places in America! Where man and God's creations blended harmoniously to create a wonderful place to leave and forget the rest of the world for a moment.

Kuya, Jago and me several minutes away from Arrowhead lake.

Sige. magpakamodel ka! Project!

I'm on the top of the world! Mine! Mine! Mine!

This lake is located on top of a huge mountain and was said to be man-made. Coolness!

I really do not know why it is called an arrowhead lake. It doesn't look like an arrowhead to me.

Do I look like a unicorn? It's a tree trunk.

Mission Inn

The Mission Inn is located at some old town in Riverside, California
Ready for the next exploration

With Jago, of course

San Francisco 2005

First of all, I would like to thank and acknowledge my brother, Joel "BJ" Legaspi for using his amazing photography skills for capturing and making us the greatest memories from our trip to San Francisco and the Santa Monica trip as well. For more of his works, he'll be coming up with his own photo blog which I will tell you about when it gets done. I believe that he deserves the credit for the wonderful pictures. Thank you Kuya! And thank you, Sony Cybershot.

After 3 years...
After 450.24 miles and 6 hours, 54 minutes of driving...
After listening to Bocelli and Phantom of the Opera CDs...

We finally made it to San Francisco!

It's co-pilot Tin-Tin ready for take-off!

Kuya BJ is not only skilled with long-driving powers, he is also fully loaded with kili-kili powers.

Umutot si Kuya! Kadiri!

Translation in English: Brother farted! Yuck!

After the very long freeways and endless farms and deserts!

Sa wakas! San Francisco na!

First Stop

EXPLORATORIUM

For me, the Exploratorium is one of the greatest artistic landmarks man has ever made. It adds to the beauty of San Francisco. And not to mention, this is where Nicolas Cage and [I forgot that old guy's name] once were chasing at each other at the movie "The Rock". I used to have pictures here before but I never really appreciated the place not until now, so the pictures weren't so nice back then.

Kutz posing at one of the huge pillars that make up the beautiful exploratorium.

Jago and I pose in front of the carvings.

We're actually trying to take a picture of the dome for the background.

Nature-loving Kutz trying to hug one of the trees.

Check out the reflection at the back. Not to mention, our projection!

Oh yes, what makes a picture better than a smile and a beautiful background?

Second Stop

FISHERMAN'S WHARF

Where the best-tasting clam chowder is at!

Jago trying to communicate with the pigeon.

I can't think of any other person who has a cuter nephew than me.

Nature-loving Kutz hugging another tree at the park.

Jago trying to save stuck Frankie (the teddy bear's name) on the tree.

Look who I found! My long lost study-pal Bina, who I kidnapped from her family.

Third Stop

LOMBARD STREET

The Lombard Street is just an ordinary street in San Francisco only with a little twist--it's crooked. Hence, the name "Crooked Street." I was sleeping in the car the first time I came here thriteen years ago. I didn't want to get up thinking that it was just a street not realizing that I would regret not having an old picture of it. Well, don't worry I have enough pictures now of it for memories.

It's Lombard Street, baby!

Jago's own Lombard memory.

A crooked smile for the crooked street.

(Tama ba spelling ng 'crooked'? Nabobobo na ko.)

More crooked street memories.

This is the other side of Lombard Street. Very nice view.

Bina, Kutz and Leiz

That's us!

And that's me bringing out peace to everyone.

Fourth and Last Stop

THE GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE ver. 2005

Nothing completes your Frisco trip than the Golden Gate Bridge. It's the very heart of San Francisco. We almost didn't make it there beacuse of the fog. On our way home, we decided to give it a last shot, and the weather seemed to be cooperative.

Jago chillin' out. Or should I say, freezing out.

With our sexy Frisco girl friend, Karen on the side.

This is Jago's first trip to San Francisco.

Kutz, Kuya BJ and Golden Gate.

My very own San Francisco postcard pose.

* * *

Goodbye, San Francisco, one of the best trips ever. Even though, still looks like I wouldn't be playing the famous song "I Left My Heart in San Francisco". All I can say is that...

I LOVE San Francisco.

Santa Monica Beach

Yeah! After around 2 hours of driving I finally made it at the Santa Monica beach. Ooh, I see lots of people here, huh. Let me check it out.

Ready to go!

First let me take a pose with my brother and his family.

Oh yes. Trying to get the Santa Monica sunshine. Believe it or not, it's getting a little bit foggy here. Good thing I still have some tan left from Boracay.

That's me with my sister in law.

My brother and his wife trying to get the romance back by the bay.

Jago and I having an awesome time!

In conclusion, nothing beats Boracay.
